Poem#5 – dysfunctional
Today’s prompt comes courtesy of Jeremy Edwards:
dysfunctional
we are ink blots
on a page
cue card number five
in a psychiatrist’s office
those who don’t know us
assume we’re the perfect couple
those who do
can’t believe we’re still together
whether it’s a cereal
or bacon and eggs kind of morning
you know just how i take it
and sometimes, that’s all that matters
this is so good! wow. okay. sleeping now.
What’s dysfunctional to some is perfectly normal to others. I like how this points that out. Good job.
What a lovely poem! Thanks for sharing, Jacque.

Great, concise portrait of intimacy.
Thanks Jeremy, great drawing by the way. I really enjoyed working on this one.
