Well, it’s almost that time of year again–when, for a short time, we let our Freak Flags fly high and proud, and come together and celebrate All Things Erotic in Seattle. Artists, art lovers, freaks and geeks from around the country will make their way to the Freemont neighborhood in Seattle to take part in one of the biggest Erotica festivals in the country.

I have two poems that have been accepted to the Literary section of the festival this year: Fire, and Letter to a Feminist Lover.

Check out the website for details and more info on the festival: http://www.seattleerotic.org/.

Hope to see you there!

Fellow blogger Athena has just had her short story Flogging Scarlet released in Xcite books’ anthology Best of Both. Read all about it here. There’s a sexy sample there too to whet your erotic appetites. I’ll be downloading my copy tonight ;)

Afrodisiac Seattle (photos)

Afrodisiac Seattle, the hottest, sexiest erotic poetry reading in the Northwest is going down tonight! Here is a pic of me reading there a few months ago. As you can see, they have quite a sensual ambiance going on. To see more pics, click here.

The EAA Inaugural Conference

The Erotic Authors Association is having their Inaugural Conference in Las Vegas September 9-10! As far as I know, it is the first conference of it’s kind, bringing together Erotica writers & readers from across the country. Check out the details here.

Erotica, Alive and Well

I thought it would be cool to start a series of posts about various erotica events, both past and present,  around the country. I find it exciting to see what people are doing in other cities to let their freak flag fly. I came across a couple of events, the first is an Erotic Poetry and Music Festival in Detroit, and the other is a review of a Valentine’s Day erotic poetry reading at Loyola University in Maryland.

Meanwhile, I plan to be back soon with some erotic poetry of my own…
